Dislexic Films
At the end of 2019 I moved back to Edinburgh and started exploring self employment or establishing an audio-visual production company, Dislexic Films, with a creative partner James Gilhooly. One of the main aims of our company is to push the boundaries of low budget film for a high quality and tailored product for our client.
Slester - Demij
Our first project was a music video for Edinburgh-based rapper Slester. This was a chance for us to work collaboratively, learn how to use new pieces of video equipment and research the fundamentals of post-production video on YouTube. My background in Audio software made post-production more fluid and I hugely enjoyed learning about the processes involved in shooting a music video.
Upcoming Projects
Gus Harrower
We are excited to be working with Scottish Alternative Music Award nominee, Gus Harrower, on his upcoming release. Covid - 19 has slowed us down as we are aware of Scottish Government phase 3 restrictions. We are currently in the final stages of planning and will hopefully be filming by end September 2020.
Sound Design
I have had so much fun learning the fundamentals of video production, but am very excited to move on to projects that require sound design. These will be social media advertisements for businesses around Edinburgh and Glasgow.
